Howdy Bacon fans!
I've migrated this site off of Blogger, and onto a standalone server application so I can offer some additional features more easily.
So, you'll see now after each post a link for comments. You may click the link and add a comment or view the existing comments. Feel free to post whatever strikes your fancy; I'll be leaving comments open and unmoderated for the time being. Because this site is world viewable, there is a chance some rogue internet surfer could come upon the site and start posting random comments, in which case I may have to restrict open posting. We'll cross that bridge if it comes that far, I have other means of dealing with malicious users before I go so far as to eliminate comments.
There is an auto-notification feature also. This will send you an email when the site gets updated. It might be seem like it is sending updates for nothing at first because I'll be tweaking things for a little while. If you'd like to receive notifications, make a comment on this post, and be sure to include your email address on the form that pops up.

I hope I did this correctly. I don't know what url is ... or if I should have written my name where I wrote "Grandma". And the "no" was marked under "personal information" and I left it that way because I don't know what that's about. This is rather advanced stuff for me, Larry. All I want is to receive your Bacon diary entries and then make comments about them. Please let me know if I need to change anything -- and then tell me what to do. Lots of love, Grandma :)
