Progress

Here's a shot of us at the Sox game this past week. First trip to the new park. Now Bacon has visited both Chicago ballparks in utero!

So, I haven't been able to find time to slice up the ultrasound video. But, for those of you with broadband connections, I'll put a link here. You can open it up in Real Player, Quicktime, or Windows Media Player (really anything that can play mpeg movies). Just copy the link below, and choose Open URL from the file menu of one of those programs.

In other news, truly momentous things are happening in the Adams house. Susan (and Bacon) are now 25 weeks LMP/23 weeks gestation.

The company we bought the defective mattress from replaced it sight unseen; if you're in the market for a mattress, I am a big fan of our new Englander. It is much firmer than we were used to, but neither Susan nor I notice when the other gets up or lays down....nice feature to have since she usually goes to sleep before me, gets up several times in the evening, and wakes up after I've gotten up in the morning.

Most importantly, Greta seems to have realized there is something going on. Last night she spent several minutes sniffing/licking Susan's belly while Bacon was kicking away. Next time it happens, I'll have to capture it on video. Human fetus/Canine communication...Nobel prize, here I come.
