...and still no baby. That's ok. Since we were getting bored waiting I decided to spice things up by quitting my job (sic).
Bacon, that's called cajones.
Surprisingly, Susan is pretty cool with it. Maybe it is just because she is too tired to put up a fight. Her appointment this past Wednesday confirmed that Bacon is snug as a bug, active, responsive, and so on. In other words, s/he has no intention of leaving. The early ultrasound (considered to be most accurate) pegged our due date at Jan 3; the doctor padded a little and said Jan 7. Our little procrastinator is now between 9 and 13 days overdue.
The good doctor is giving us until Sunday night for things to happen on their own. Barring that, and at this point it seems that there is no way this kid is coming of its own volition, we'll be checking into the hospital at 11:30pm Sunday. Let the countdown commence.
